Fitting riders on mountain bikes is where My Mountain sets itself apart.  Bike fitting a mountain bike correctly is a marriage between performance and control. You can think of by picturing a time trial bike and a BMX. The time trial rider is in the ultimate position for power and speed but with limited manoeuvrability where as the BMX has the maximum control and manoeuvrability at the expense of riding power. So a mountain bike setup is a delicate balance between the two. Get it wrong and you might find you are less comfortable climbing or descending or you may even find your just not confident on rough, fast terrain.   Get it right and you will fall in love with your bike as it becomes your partner on the trails working with you 100% of the time. The results will transform your riding experience.

 

A bike fit starts at your feet and finishes at your hands, making many adjustments and measurements along the way. We take into account your flexibility, fitness, riding style and any previous injuries as these are all very important. Once the riding position is dialled in we then completely set your suspension up. It’s a lengthy process that takes between 1 ½ hours to 2 hours depending on the complexity and necessary changes.
