Crank Brother Premium Cleats (fits Eggbeater, Candy, Acid & Mallet Pedals)
Pedals feeling a bit shabby? Not entering/releasing as snappy as when they were new? It's time to replace your old pedal cleats then! Designed as a replacement cleat for your worn out Crank Brothers cleats, the Premium Cleats will fit any Eggbeater, Candy, Mallet, Smarty or Acid model. Pedal cleats are made of a softer material than the pedals themselves, so that over time you are wearing down the cleat, not the pedal. Typically cleats will last 12-24 months, but the tell-tale signs of sloppy entry, accidental release when pedalling and a "loose" feeling when clipped in mean it's a good time to replace those cleats.
The new 'Premium Cleats' from Crank Brothers feature a higher quality brass construction that lasts much longer than the standard Crank Bro's cleats. The Premium model also features more lateral adjustment due to the sliding plate, which allows for perfect cleat setup no matter what the rider requires.
