Maxxis High Roller 26 x 2.35" Folding Looking for a replacement MTB tyre for your 4-6" All Mountain bike? Part of the Maxxis mountain bike tires range, the High Roller is Maxxis' most versatile tread pattern and is popular amongs trail riders all over the globe due to its ability to perform in varied conditions. With a beefy 2.35" width and aggressive cornering tread, the High Roller inspires confidence on fast-paced fireroads and tight singletrack when you really need to lean the bike over. Faster than the Minion DH tyre, but with similar levels of cornering grip that you need when pushing hard on your trail bike, the High Roller is perfect for riders who are sick of sketchy XC tyres. Using a hardy 60 TPI casing, the folding version of the High Roller keeps the weight down without sacrificing durability. The 60a rubber Durometer is a slightly stickier rubber compound than what you'll find on lightweight XC tyres, which provides more grip and tackiness on loose rocky terrain. Compared to the Exception series tyres, the standard High Roller features a thicker sidewall for better pinch-flat resistance and reduces the chance of sidewall tearing. Run the HR tyre front & rear for an aggressive, grippy and easy to drift setup that will have you whooping and hollering all the way down the trail, or team up with a slightly faster tyre on the back (like an Ikon or Crossmark) for a grippy setup that still maintains snappy acceleration.
From Maxxis:
"Our most popular and versatile mountain tire, the High Roller's ramped leading edges roll fast, while the side lugs offer stability at speed and a sharp edge to hold corners. The grooved center knobs provide straight-line control. The High Roller's tread design translates well to all mountain bike disciplines, including downhill, cross country, and freeride".
