Fizik Gobi Saddle

The Gobi XM is the evolution of the original Fizik saddle, featuring a slightly flatter tailbone section to the earlier design, whilst maintaining the Wing Flex and Tail Flex technology that have made the Gobi saddle so popular. The new Gobi XM saddle utilises a flatter mid-to-tailbone section that allows for a wider sitting platform that disperses your weight more evenly over the saddle, decreasing pressure points and saddle soreness. The lightweight k:ium rails keep the overall weight down, and the cordura material around the edges of the saddle reduce the chance of tearing in the event of a crash.

K:IUM Rails
Lighter than Titanium, this Fizik-developed product is a new alloy that allows the engineers to achieve many of the benefits of Ti rails such as its strength and weight properties, at a much lower cost. Whilst dropping weight over the cromoly and steel used on cheaper saddles, the k:ium rails are also corrosion resistant.

Wing Flex
The WING FLEX™ shell flexes downward in the critical area where the inner thighs contact the saddle allowing for more efficient, full-range movement while pedalling. This feature, combined with the saddle’s extended lenght allows the rider to find the most comfortable sitting position (multiple riding positions), eliminating standard problems of a saddle that is too long, too short, too wide or too narrow. Physically whether the rider has big or small thighs, or a wide or a narrow pelvis, the saddle is adapting to the rider as opposed to the rider adapting to saddle. The result; a Custom Fit.
