Fizik Aliante Saddle
The Aliante has been in the Fizik saddle range for a number of years as a more comfortable offering for those really epic rides where you spend half of the ride trying to figure out how to get back to the car. With patented Twin Flex technology and Technogel lining, the Aliante XM is a supremely comfortable mountain bike saddle without feeling like a couch. The Aliante Gamma XM features a wider platform in comparison to the Gobi saddle, and utilises the special Technogel mid-section that "memorizes" the shape of your bum and moulds to your contours, unlike regular foam that makes your sit bones push through to the hard plastic base. The lightweight k:ium rails keep the overall weight down, and the added cordura material around the edges of the saddle reduce the chance of tearing in the event of a crash, unlike the road models that don't utilise this feature.

Technogel
A proprietry material developed by Fizik, Technogel is an exclusive shock-absorbing gel that is the only matrix gel on the market that has a "shape memory". This allows it to deform three-dimensionally and conform to the shape of your toosh, whilst providing the support that foam cannot.

Twin Flex
The multi-directional outer edged carbon fiber reinfoerce strength while the bi-directional orientation of the shells inner carbon and kevlar woven fibers provide comfort. The transition between the two carbon structures is seamless. The combination of the two materials allows the saddle to flex but only to the point that the stiff outer shell will permit, because the kevlar/carbon shell is essentially “bonded” to its stiff outer shell: hammock-like feeling - amazing comfort.
