The lock-on feature is about as new and techy that Oury gets, though we welcome it, as it is a mating of two great designs. You get the reliability of a Lock-on grip that doesn't twist or rotate in wet conditions, and the comfort of the soft Oury rubber in the classic waffle design. And as with most quality MTB products, it's one less thing to worry about when you're hammering down a trail!
