2012 Camelbak Lobo 3.0L Hydration Pack
The Camelback Lobo is a long-term favorite in the Camelbak hydration range, due to it's big 3.0 litre bladder, narrow design and nifty 3.0 litre storage size that make it ideal for long summer rides. The first brand to pioneer hands-free hydration, the Camelbak bladder revolutionised mountain biking, allowing riders to take the tubes, pumps, tools and water bottle off their bikes and stow it in a comfortable and durable backpack. With class-leading hydration technologies and field-tested pack designs, there is no other brand with a reputation anywhere near Cammelbak, and with a range of different styles and sizes available, there is a hydration solution for every rider out there.

The baby brother of the Mule, the Lobo backpack features 2 separate zippered compartments, with the pocket at the top featuring a clever little port for your MP3 headphone cord. The lower half of the pack uses elastic netting to pack in everything tightly, though the expansion panel system opens up the storage space if you need to squeeze in an extra jacket, sandwhich or multi-tool, with 2 \x compression buckles cinching it all down securely. Another fantastic feature is the pocket on the left shoulder strap that allows you to fit an energy gel inside, so you don't have to take off your backpack to get your mid-ride energy hit. While it shares the same 3.0 litre Antidote bladder as the Mule, the Lobo is smaller in it's storage volume and is quite a bit lighter overall at just 490 grams. For some riders, having a "restrictive" storage space is actually a good thing as it can prevent you from taking too much gear on your rides and loading up your back with additional weight. Unless you're going on an all-day epic or overnight ride, the Lobo will comfortably fit in your spares, pump, wallet, phone, food and an outer shell. It's comfortable shape wraps around your natural riding position and the impressive Air Director back panel provides exceptional ventilation to avoid heat and sweat build up. Compared to the smaller Rogue backpack, the Lobo gets a Ultra-light 3D mesh harness for improved comfort when carrying extra water and gear.
Designed with mountain biking in mind, the Lobo is constructed from thick 70 Denier Nylon to resist the expected wear-and-tear of trail riding, while double-row stitching ensures everything holds together no matter how much stuff you cram into them. Along with the quality Antidote bladder and simple storage arrangement, the Lobo is a solid pack that will last you for many seasons.

Camelbak Hydration Bladder
A key reason why Camelbak packs stand out from the rest, the latest hydration bladder is incredibly durable for it's weight, uses a taste-free lining and is even leak proof too. In fact, Cammelback have so much confidence in their Antidote reservoir that they give them a lifetime warranty. The lining of the bladder is treated with HydroGuard™ in order to inhibit the growth of bacteria, keeping the water you drink safe and taste-free. With a huge opening on the Antidote reservoir, it is easy to get inside to clean out the reservoir, which is made even easier with the Camelbak cleaning kit. And when you're done filling up the bladder, the 1/4 turn Quick-snap cap makes everything safe, secure and leak proof. Compared to previous models that required many more turns to close off the filler cap, the latest Antidote model is almost impossible to over-tighten and is much more user-friendly. The quality doesn't stop there though, as the Camelbak Big Bite Valve provides easy hands-free drinking, with a small shut off valve for drip-free riding. One of the big improvements with the latest reservoir is it's quick release detachable drinking tube that can be removed from the bladder with a simple lever, allowing for separate cleaning as necessary.
