2012 Camelbak Mule NV 3.0L Hydration Pack

Part of the Rogue/Lobo/HAWG series, the Mule fits in as an 11 litre pack that holds a 3 litre Antidote hydration bladder, making it the optimal choice for the type of all-day riding that demands additional gear and water over a smaller pack. The Mule gets 4x  zippered internal compartments of varying sizes, as well as a versatile overflow stretch-pocket allowing you to stow extra gear or even a helmet with the help of the adjustable compression straps. The bladder compartment is seperated from the rest of the pack for ease of use, and the hydration hose is cleverly routed out the top of the pack and down the right hand shoulder strap so it doesn't get snagged on anything as you move around. The new Mule gets a few extra little features, including a small top pocket with a soft felt liner to protect your sunglasses or phone from getting scratched, and a concealed rain cover that wraps around the entire pack to keep your phone, MP3 player and any other valuables dry. 
Standing for "Next-generation Ventilated Integrated System", the N.V.I.S back panel used on the Mule NV and H.A.W.G NV is what separates them from the regular models. The N.V.I.S back panel is designed to dramatically increase air flow and ventilation over the riders back while wearing a larger volume pack such as the Mule, without compromising on internal compartment space and keeping weight closer in to the harness. While the standard Mule is still available, we think the Mule NV is so much more comfortable and cooler on hot days that we only stock the NV. Camelbak Hydration Bladder
A key reason why Camelbak packs stand out from the rest, the latest hydration bladder is incredibly durable for it's weight, uses a taste-free lining and is even leak proof too. In fact, Cammelback have so much confidence in their Antidote reservoir that they give them a lifetime warranty. The lining of the bladder is treated with HydroGuard™ in order to inhibit the growth of bacteria, keeping the water you drink safe and taste-free. With a huge opening on the Antidote reservoir, it is easy to get inside to clean out the reservoir, which is made even easier with the Camelbak cleaning kit. And when you're done filling up the bladder, the 1/4 turn Quick-snap cap makes everything safe, secure and leak proof. Compared to previous models that required many more turns to close off the filler cap, the latest Antidote model is almost impossible to over-tighten and is much more user-friendly. The quality doesn't stop there though, as the Camelbak Big Bite Valve provides easy hands-free drinking, with a small shut off valve for drip-free riding. One of the big improvements with the latest reservoir is it's quick release detachable drinking tube that can be removed from the bladder with a simple lever, allowing for separate cleaning as necessary.
