Shimano Deore XT 10 Speed Cassette M771
The latest 10 speed XT drivetrain shifts flawlessly and smoother than ever thanks to the DynaSys technology used on the cassette, chain, derailleurs, shifters and chainrings. The M771 XT Cassette uses intense tooth-profiling to provide faster shifting both up and down the cassette and is available in 2 different ratios so you can achieve the ideal gearing for your 3x10, 2x10 or even 1x10 drivetrain. Continuing the Deore XT theme, the Shimano XT cassette reduces weight over cheaper cassettes while improving strength and wear life. Not only do you get smoother shifting, you won't have to replace them as often saving you money in the long run. Just like the SLX and XTR cassettes, the Deore XT utilises an alloy carrier body that  to drop weight significantly over all-steel cassettes. The alloy carrier provides a stiffer platform for more accurate shifting and reduces the chance of damage on lightweight hub bodies. Continuing with the lightweight theme, the XT also utilises an alloy locking ring that is lighter than the steel version found on the SLX. Unlike the SLX cassette however, the XT features Chrome plating on all of the sprocket teeth for unbelievably smooth shifting and improved wear life. And combined with the computer-designed Hyperglide (HG) sprockets that incorporate specifically positioned shift ramps and tooth profiles for improved chain control during shifting, you get the impeccable shifting that Shimano is renowned for.
