Brand new for 2012 is the new Nirvana XC helmet, designed from the ground up as Lazer's premium lid for mountain biking. Premium XC Lid
The Nirvana borrows much of the same technology pioneered by their road helmets, such as the Rollsys® Retention System, RBS internal reinforcement and full In-Mold construction, though provides an incredible 21 Vents for keeping you cool and the necessary visor for deflecting branches and other trail debris from your eyes. With all this additional ventilation and the advancements being made in Lazer's In-Mold construction, weight is brought down to a staggering 260 grams, making the Nirvana almost unnoticeable on top of your noggin. Speaking of construction, the Nirvana helmet uses a complex internal reinforcement titled "RBS", or Rigidity Brace System, for maximum protection under impact. It is basically an internal roll cage that is molded in the helmets shell, which improves the ability of the helmet to remain in one-piece under heavy crashes. This RBS technology allows the designers to reduce overall weight, while retaining key strength that guarantees higher safety.

Rollsys® 
The Rollsys® Retention System is probably the most recognizable feature of high-end Lazer helmets, and is a big reason why these helmets are so comfortable. Comprising of a simple dial on the top of the helmet, the Nirvana is able to be adjusted with one hand whilst riding, with the adjustment wheel adding or reducing tension around the circumference of the helmet. The adjustment wheel activates a stainless steel inner wire that runs around the helmet rim and allows for fine tune adjustment like no other system on the market. In fact, the Rollsys system is so good that it has won Lazer awards for design and innovation all around the world, including Eurobike in Germany.

Sizing:
In order to size your helmet correctly, simply use a tape measure to obtain the circumference of your skull just above your eyebrows. If this measurement is 57cm or below, choose the XS/S size. If the measurement is 58cm or above, choose the L/XL size.
