Light, fast, and comfortable is how we would sum up the FX range of bikes and the 7.4 FX sits in the middle of the range making it our pick of the bunch.  The 7.4 FX WSD has been designed to work better and feel more comfortable for female riders in every way.  The geometry is specific as well as some of the components making it fast, yet comfortable.  The light, yet strong wheels make the bike easy to get up to speed off a set of lights and will have you riding to work faster than ever, or riding on your favourite bike path for longer.  And with puncture resistant Bontrager tyres you won’t be stuck on the side of the bike path trying to repair a flat.  The IsoZone handlebar and grips are a fantastic innovation that make the FX bikes even more comfortable without compromising speed and performance.  Keeping a rigid carbon fork on the front means the FX 7.4 is quick and responsive but when combined with the IsoZone system the ride remains comfortable and smooth, a truly great feature.  Lightning fast and comfortable.

Suspension for your hands Your hands are where it all starts when it comes to road vibrations—which then travel up your arms to your shoulders, causing fatigue, less comfort, and less control.     Trek  drew upon Bontrager’s inForm Science of Comfort research to design the ergonomically shaped IsoZone Grip, then paired it with a handlebar containing an advanced elastomer insert to soak up road buzz. The result of this breakthrough bar/grip combination is nearly a 30% reduction in peak hand pressure—which means more comfort and control.
