Bontrager DuoTrap Digital Speed/Cadence Sensor If you own a Trek road bike that is DuoTrap compatible, there is no cleaner way to install a wireless computer than with a Node monitor and a DuoTrap digital sensor. Simply remove the plastic sleeve in the non-drive chainstay and bolt in in the Bontrager DuoTrap unit - that's it! Simple and easy-to-follow instructions come with the sensor and combined with a Node series monitor, you'll find it a cinch to setup your Madone with speed and cadence. Included with the sensor is a spoke magnet that will measure your wheel speed, as well as a band magnet that slips over your crank arm to measure your cadence (RPM). If you don't have a compatible frame, you can still use a Node computer with a regular strap-on sensor, which you can select from the "Computers & Watches" page. ANT+ Wireless Communication For the more serious weekend warrior, techno geeks or competitive cyclists, the Bontrager Node series will appeal with their digital Ant+ wireless Com system that is more reliable and accurate than the standard anologue wireless computers on the market. A big advantage of digital wireless computers is that they're not affected from electrical interference like tram lines, electricity wires or even a high-powered night light on your handlebar, so they stay reliable and accurate regardless of the conditions. The other advantage of this communication system is that it is compatible with any other Ant+ device, such as PowerTap hubs and Quarq cranks, so your Node computer is able to link up to these devices to provide you with power output on the readout. Just simply hold the 2 side buttons on the monitor and it will seek out the signal from that device to link them up. Nice!
