Bontrager RXL Wheels
With a 1525gm weight, the Race X Lite wheels from Bontrager will astound you with their responsive ride and instant acceleration. Although they are the lightest alloy road wheelset in the lineup, the RXL's are impressively durable thanks to their stiff Scandium alloy rims that keep the overall wheel laterally rigid. This is particularly important for riders that throw their bike around and ride hard 'n' fast through corners, as a flexy wheelset will not hold a line when under significant load and is likely to cause understeer. There is no weight limit to the RXL wheels, and this is perhaps testament to Bontragers confidence in the strength of the RXL wheels. Built up with stainless steel bladed spokes, the Race X Lites maintain good aerodynamic properties for cutting through the air, though also allow the wheel to be hold higher spoke tension, resulting in a rigid and responsive wheel. DT Swiss manufactured hubs provide bulletproof performance thanks to the simple and serviceable freehub design as well as the sealed cartridge bearings that will stay smoother for longer. 
While you can find marginally lighter wheels at the same pricepoint as the RXL's, you are unlikely to get an option that is as well built and as stiff. For sprinters, heavy riders and those that simply value performance and durability over a number, the Bontrager RXL wheelset is quality option.
