Designed to work seamlessly with Shimano DynaSys cassettes and chainrings, the HG74 chain is a solid choice for your mountain biking needs. Like all shimano parts you can expect the SLX chain to be quiet, reliable and robust. The HG73 SLX level chain utilises Shimano's "HyperGlide" technology that is designed to integrate with their cassettes and chainrings, though is also compatible with SRAM cassettes and other branded chainrings. Ultra-precision construction maintains strength, dependability and shifting performance on the narrower 9-speed sprocket cluster and Zinc-alloy plating increases the chain's durability and resistance to corrosion. The chain also features an asymmetric design that meshes seamlessly with DynaSys chainrings and cassette teeth, with specific profiling on each side of the chain. Combined with the SLX cassette, the HG74 provides smooth and dependable shifting that will continue to do so for a long time.
