Chris King Headset
Otherwise known as "a Rolex for your bike", the Chris King headset is an icon of the cycling world. It has become much more than aluminium cups and a couple of bearings, but a component riders the world over aspire to own. The company has been making sealed bearing headsets for over 30 years after having designed the first sealed bearing model in 1976. The King headset, along with their excellent hubs, is famous for being one of the few components on a mountain bike that will likely outlast the frame.
 
With cups machined from Aluminum Alloy housing custom Stainless Steel cartridge bearings, the King headset is an exercise in precision engineering and will appeal to riders wanting both long term durability and beautiful fit 'n' finish. All parts of Kings headsets are manufactured in house in Portland, Oregon to exceedingly high standards of not only craftsmanship but waste management. Every piece of aluminium waste produced during manufacture is collected and compressed into pucks to ensure easier recycling, compressing the aluminium also recovers nearly all of the waste oil which is then clarified and sent back to the machines to produce more parts. 
 
Note: The current King headset is available in 4 different sizes and 10 colours with new inset variations to fit almost every headtube/steerer tube configuration available.
