Shimano SLX M663 10 Speed Rear Derailleur

The latest option from Shimano's burly All Mountain groupset is the 10 speed SLX derailleur that sees the integration of the Dyna-Sys technology to create a smoother, more efficient drivetrain. The M663 derailleur shares the same tough & aggressive construction as the 9 speed version, and the low-profile Shadow design remains. However, tweaks to the parallelogram provide slicker shifting and perfect positioning for wide-range 10 speed cassettes, with the ability to get to the larger 36t cog. When used with a DynaSys SLX shifter, chain & cassette, you've got a bulletproof setup that will shift dependably through all kinds of conditions.

 

Featuring a completely new design, the SLX utilises Shimano's "Shadow" technology that gives the derailleur a low-profile design by bringing the mechanism closer to the bike and away from pesky rocks and trees. And with it's direct cable routing and Shadow technology, the SLX represents incredible value.
