2012 Camelbak Rogue 2.0L Hydration Pack
Bridging the gap between the minimalist Hydrobak pack and the feature-laden Mule, the Camelbak Rogue provides a balance of weight, simplicity and storage space, making it an excellent all-purpose backpack for regular trail riding. The first brand to pioneer hands-free hydration, the Camelbak bladder revolutionized mountain biking, allowing riders to take the tubes, pumps, tools and water bottle off their bikes and stow it in a comfortable and durable backpack. With class-leading hydration technologies and field-tested pack designs, there is no other brand with a reputation anywhere near Cammelbak, and with a range of different styles and sizes available, there is a hydration solution for every rider out there.

If you like the look of the Hydrobak and Classic range but need a little more storage for extra gear, the Camelbak Rogue is your ticket with it's twin compartment design and additional 3 litres of cargo space. For packing in an extra clothing layer or some emergency trail snacks, there is an external pocket behind the lower zippered compartment that allows you to cram in more gear and cinch it all down with the compression straps as needed. The latest Rogue shares the same shape and design as the Camelbak Lobo but with a smaller 2 Litre bladder, making it ideal for anything from a post-work ride to a weekend excursion to the local trail network. While many riders may be accustomed to slapping a water bottle onto their frame before heading out to the trails, using a 750mL bottle for anything longer than 45 minutes isn't going to give you sufficient hydration. One of the main advantages of using a hydration bladder like a Camelbak is that it encourages you to drink more often, as the bite valve is always readily accessible and avoids you having to bend over to reach down to a bottle cage around your feet. If you're a fan of using an electrolyte drink such as Endura, you can be assured that there are no problems filling your Camelbak with flavoured energy drinks though we would recommend both cleaning the bladder more regularly as well as storing it in the freezer to avoid any taste buildup.
The harness and back panel are upgraded over the cheaper Camelbak packs, with the Rogue getting the Air Channel system on its back panel for greatly improved air flow between your back and the harness. The lightweight Mesh shoulder straps feature a wide profile for greater distribution of weight over their length, so you avoid any discomfort from narrow straps digging into your skin. Designed to stand up to crashes and general heavy-handedness, the Rogue is constructed of durable 70D Nylon for abrasion resistance and the minimal number of straps and buckles leave little to go wrong.
For the weekend warrior and mid-week trail rider, you'll be hard pressed to find a more usable hydration pack at the weight of the Rogue, as it's combination of storage space, bladder size and comfort make it a winner.

Camelbak Antidote Bladder
A key reason why Camelbak packs stand out from the rest, the latest hydration bladder is incredibly durable for it's weight, uses a taste-free lining and is even leak proof too. In fact, Cammelback have so much confidence in their Antidote reservoir that they give them a lifetime warranty. The lining of the bladder is treated with HydroGuard™ in order to inhibit the growth of bacteria, keeping the water you drink safe and taste-free. With a huge opening on the Antidote reservoir, it is easy to get inside to clean out the reservoir, which is made even easier with the Camelbak cleaning kit. And when you're done filling up the bladder, the 1/4 turn Quick-snap cap makes everything safe, secure and leak proof. Compared to previous models that required many more turns to close off the filler cap, the latest Antidote model is almost impossible to over-tighten and is much more user-friendly. The quality doesn't stop there though, as the Camelbak Big Bite Valve provides easy hands-free drinking, with a small shut off valve for drip-free riding. One of the big improvements with the latest reservoir is it's quick release detachable drinking tube that can be removed from the bladder with a simple lever, allowing for separate cleaning as necessary.
