For some rides, things can just get a little epic. You know the type; with a rough plan to join up some new sections of trail out in the middle of nowhere, you head out with your mates under blue skies, though after 45 minutes of riding dark clouds appear from nowhere and all of a sudden you're rolling through damp soil and fresh winds that call for a couple of extra layers. One of the group gets a flat and while you're huddling around the wheel, you share out some trail snacks to keep energy levels up, then take out your camera to record those hilarious moments for laughs later that night. It's rides like these that you can depend on a roomy backpack like the Camelbak LUXE, with its 8.5 litres of storage volume, durable materials and clever design that allows you to pack in a surprising amount of gear into a compact space.
The LUXE is ideal as a "one pack" as it's use of compression straps means it stays firm and flat against your back whether you have it packed out or just have the bare essentials. A 3 litre hydration bladder provides plenty of capacity for all-day riding, and the drink hose is positioned around the front of your chest for easy access, encouraging you to drink more often and all without having to take your hand off the handlebar while you reach for a bottle. The LUXE is separated into 2 main zippered compartments, with the lower front pocket using an internal gear organiser to keep things tidy. Like the smaller Magic and Aurora packs, there is an Overflow stowage pocket in the middle of the pack that allows you to stuff in a jacket, extra gear or even a helmet, with elastic walls and buckled compression straps keeping everything secure. While carrying that extra weight, you'll be glad of the extra stability provided by the Independent Suspension harness and Air Director back panel that are designed to better distribute pack weight onto your hips and away from your shoulders. Designed with a female-specific fit, the LUXE uses a shorter Torso length as well as S-shaped Shoulder straps with Velvetex lining to provide comfort against the skin and minimal friction when wearing a sleeveless top. For women trail riders, the LUXE is so comfortable that you won't want to take it off!

Camelbak Antidote Bladder
A key reason why Camelbak packs stand out from the rest, the latest hydration bladder is incredibly durable for it's weight, uses a taste-free lining and is even leak proof too. In fact, Cammelback have so much confidence in their Antidote reservoir that they give them a lifetime warranty. The lining of the bladder is treated with HydroGuard™ in order to inhibit the growth of bacteria, keeping the water you drink safe and taste-free. With a huge opening on the Antidote reservoir, it is easy to get inside to clean out the reservoir, which is made even easier with the Camelbak cleaning kit. And when you're done filling up the bladder, the 1/4 turn Quick-snap cap makes everything safe, secure and leak proof. Compared to previous models that required many more turns to close off the filler cap, the latest Antidote model is almost impossible to over-tighten and is much more user-friendly. The quality doesn't stop there though, as the Camelbak Big Bite Valve provides easy hands-free drinking, with a small shut off valve for drip-free riding. One of the big improvements with the latest reservoir is it's quick release detachable drinking tube that can be removed from the bladder with a simple lever, allowing for separate cleaning as necessary.
