Application
For best results, apply a layer of Silicon Shine to your clean and dry bike after it has been degreased with Muc-Off bicycle cleaner. Don't go overboard with the spray, just a light coating over the frame, rims, suspension forks, cockpit and any other components you want to look ridiculously good. Because the Silicon Spray is safe on rubber components, spraying a wee-layer onto the stanchions of your fork and/or shock will actually reduce seal friction and provide smooth suspension performance. After spraying onto your bike, use a clean rag or micro-fibre cloth to buff the bike and create and uber-shiny finish.

My Mountain Cleaning Tips
Using a silicone polish on your bike after cleaning will build up a layer of silicone on key frame tubing and component surfaces to decrease surface friction and prevent future dirt build-up. When dirt and mud does make its way onto your bike, cleaning it off will be ten-fold easier as it simply slides off the slippery surface you have created. Avoid spraying onto disc brake rotors or disc brake pads as reduced friction is not something you want with your brakes! While not essential but recommended, use the Muc-Off Brake Cleaner spray to evaporate any contaminants off your disc brake rotor and pads if you have gotten silicon spray onto those surfaces.
