When the Crank Brother's Egg Beater Pedals first burst on the scene, they were unlike anything that had been seen before.

The innovative minimalist design maximizes efficiency and ease-of-use. The skeletal design of the Eggbeaters results in several important features; Lightness, because there's hardly anything there at all; Mud resistance, as debris is able to flow or get pushed through the wings with little to no hinderance; Ease of entry, thanks to the four attachment points, you're almost guaranteed to clip in as soon as you step onto the pedal. And if you're foot is a little forward or back, just wiggle it a but and it'll fall right in.

The cleat used with the Egg Beaters, the same used with every C.B. mountain pedal, offers a super-low stack- height. This results in increased power transfer, better control, and the low-profile of the pedal provides extra clearance for rocks and cornering.

The Eggbeater C shares the same design as all it's Eggbeater brethren, and gives you the added bonus of being able to use a pedal wrench to install or remove. Utilising the same design and bearing system as the rest of the Eggbeater range but without the exotic materials, the Eggbeater C brings Crank Brothers performance to a lower pricepoint, whilst still outperforming the competition.

Another impressive feature that is available on all of the Crank Brothers pedals is the serviceable bearing and bushing system, which allows you to flush new grease into the pedal to purge out dirt and water and increase the longevitiy of your bearings.
