Truvativ Noir T30 Carbon Seat Post
The carbon Noir seatpost series matches the sleek look and feel of the Truvativ Noir cranks and carbon handlebars. The Noir T30 seatposts are made from High Modulus Carbon Fiber material and features a Natural Carbon (unidirectional) finish, giving them a raw but elegant look. A perfect match to your carbon bars or Noir carbon cranks, the Noir T30 seatpost not only reduces weight over the alloy models, it also adds vibration damping right where you want it - under your bum! The inherent flex from carbon fiber allows the seatpost to absorb vibration from the trail in a much more noticebale fashion than alloy posts. Although it's not like riding a dually, a carbon post is a great addition to a hardtail to take the sting out of the trail, or to any bike to drop some grams and lower your centre of gravity.

The twin-bolt design is the best on the market for making fine-tune adjustments and getting the saddle angle setup perfectly, with no compromise in having the nose too far up or too far down. The large surface area on the clamp head provides plenty of support for lightweight saddle rails and in the event of extreme force being applied, the seatpost shaft is designed to bend before it breaks - a unique feature for carbon seatposts and one that will give aggressive and heavy riders peace of mind. Available in 3 different diameters to suit any modern mountain bike seat tube, the Noir post comes in a reasonably long 400mm length that can be trimmed down in necessary. There are 2 clamp offsets available; 0mm and 25mm. Depending on where your saddle needs to be in relation to your pedals, choosing the 25mm offset will allow you to move your saddle further back on the rails to bring your weight further behind the bottom bracket. The 0mm offset does the opposite, pushing your saddle closer to the handlebar, though you are still able to adjust your saddle forwards and backwards on the rails with either clamp offset.
